The Knicks waived point guard Ramon Sessions in order to sign G Leaguer Trey Burke

Bon voyage, Ramon! It’s on, y’all. Per ESPN’s Ian Begley, the Knicks have waived point guard Ramon Sessions to make room to sign G League guard Trey Burke. Sessions averaged 3.7 points (on a hardly robust 32.1% shooting) and 2.1 assists in 13 games this season. He started the first three games of the 2017-18 season, but the Knicks’ offense struggled mightily, especially with turnovers, and he was benched in favor of current starter Jarrett Jack.
